Help Feed the Homeless
at Temple Beth El!
Temple Beth El members volunteer to feed the homeless and hungry one Sunday a month at the South Congregational Church in Springfield. For about 15 years now, we have been serving dinner to approximately 45-50 people. Volunteers are needed to prepare or purchase food, and/or serve the food. The people who step forward receive no public praise for their efforts — but you should know that our community recognizes poverty in our midst and is trying to make a difference. We are always looking for more volunteers. This is a great family bonding experience, especially for children! For more information or to sign up, contact the TBE office.
